I’ve been fascinated with big cats since I was just a small child. The first time I saw a black leopard face to face behind a glass wall at the Milwaukee Zoo in Wisconsin left an everlasting impression on me! The majestic power, grace and beauty of this amazing animal just struck me and left me in awe! I’ve been following, researching and appreciating the big cats ever since! My desire is that this site can in some way inspire you too, to take note of these amazing cats, and give respect and honor due to their Creator God Who designed and created these magnificent animals for us to stop and take note of!

I write from Iowa City, IA, where I live with my own little lioness, Lily. I’m blessed to get to write both for fun and for a living – I work as a technical writer at ACT, Inc, where I celebrated my tenth year in November ‘11. If any of you are looking for employment in the area, it’s a great place to work! I’m so very grateful for the job.
Outside of writing, I love to play piano, read, research new recipes (and sometimes cook!), play a little tennis, spend quality time with family & friends, and travel. I dream of visiting both The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO, and “The Lion Whisperer,” Kevin Richardson, at his farm in Africa.
